Christa and Kyle met while they were at Texas Tech. They just had their beautiful wedding last Friday at the Stoneleigh Hotel, but they travelled to Austin for the engagement session back in June. (I’m catching up with my blog!)

Her amazing bridal session (and dress) will be shown in the next few posts, stay tuned.

Amira and Matt’s Engagement Session, Austin, Texas

What a sweet and fun couple!

Amira wanted to do an engagement session at their new house and then to a nearby park and wanted it to be as natural as possible.

We started off with some reading and some card games on the sofa

I think Amira is going to win the card game…

They’ll get married in October in Rice University in Houston, can’t wait!

Natalie + Matt Engaged, Texas State Capitol, Austin, Texas

Natalie, Matt and I went to the Texas state Capitol building in early June for their engagement session.

Natalie lives in Austin and Matt has just graduated from college – they actually met in Africa through different reasons and routes – more on their story after the wedding.

Jenny and Johnnie’s Engagement Session, Downtown Austin, Texas

Jenny and Johnnie met each other in Las Vegas, and as Johnnie puts it: “Somethings just don’t stay in Vegas…” There is actually a really funny story about it, but I’ll wait until the wedding day blog if it’s revealed in a toast

Jenny is actually in NYC right now and Johnnie owns a farm just north of Houston. They came down to Austin and we did an engagement session and even stopped by a cool restaurant in the area, La Condesa – Jenny picked it herself, as she’s big into food in general and turns out to be a great place for some interesting portraits.

When you see an outdoor lounge chair in the middle of the street in downtown Austin, you know you have to get a photo….

The playful couple will be married in Houston in September and I look forward to their big day!!
